About
Steven received his B.S. from the University of California, San Diego in Chemical Engineering. He is currently a Medical Informatics PhD student at UCLA under the mentorship of Dr. Peipei Ping as well as a co-mentorship of Dr. Kai-Wei Chang. His research interests include ECG signal processing for characterizing cardiac outcomes and integration of multi-modal cardiovascular data. He is particularly interested in developing scalable, robust, and interpretable machine learning models that bridge signal-level biomarkers with clinical phenotypes in cardiovascular disease.
